An exploration of authentic, wholehearted connection through exercises in awareness, breath, subtle energy, eye-contact, touch and dialogue. These workshops encourage us to be present and intimate with ourselves and with others and give us the opportunity for individual and interpersonal healing. We find greater freedom and new ways of experiencing and enjoying each other, our world and ourselves.
THE WHEEL OF CONSENT
Using touch-based exercises, we learn how to ask for what we want and express our boundaries from a place of self-connection and embodiment. The Wheel of Consent provides a basis for us to improve our communication skills and capacity for emotional honesty: what is it that we really want, and how do we ask for it?
BE THE CHANGE
A co-laboratory for bringing HeartSpace into the rest of the world, Be The Change is a space where we cultivate personal and collective practices for empowerment and service, including: community building, micro-solidarity, collaborative economics, and more.
We connect with what is alive within us and practice honest expression and empathic listening. When we pay attention to the core needs of ourselves and others we are motivated to speak or act from compassion. Through approaching others with more kindness and understanding we increase our ability to give and receive what is most needed.
INNER HEALING THROUGH PARTS WORK
A hands-on introduction to one of the fastest-growing, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, called Internal Family Systems therapy, or Parts Work. It is a dance form open to everybody. Playful, fun and liberating it is also a useful tool for being present in the body and present with others.
SINGING, DRUMMING, DANCING
Expressing ourselves through sound and movement is an integral part of the camp that brings us into our felt experience and helps us to let go of what doesn’t serve us and celebrate what is.
